Update schedule: Sorry, folks! I’ve had a minor strain/sprain/pain (?) in my drawing hand the last few days. And while it is is healing and improving I have needed to rest it and haven’t been able to finish this week’s update. I expect to be back on schedule from next Sunday. Thanks for hanging in there!
Hobart: Way, way, waaaaaay south of Sydney (1057 kms/657 miles), two states away!
Next update: Sunday February 24, 2019: Montage
Legacy: New updates weekly! Voting gives you access to the current page, previous pages (via bit.ly links), raises Magellan’s profile and hopefully scores us a few more readers (oh, and BTW, pages might contain nudity!).
Geez! It’s hard to believe that Brunton is the only guy behind all this, but the circumstantial evidence sure seems to be pointing that way.
I’d have put Boobies in both three spellings of the bewbs one of them being all numbers.
Heh, yeah me too. But most people aren’t nearly that clever with their passwords, fortunately for our heroes.
Well, considering “123456” and “password” are still most common passwords people use …
Also keep in mind, these events happened over a decade ago. Most people did not think to have complex passwords at the time. Guys like Melnik even less so. He probably reuses the same password all over the place too.
I had thought about using something like b0oB135 but decided that complicated the joke!
I remember Legostar Galactica did the more complicated joke as a two parter. I didn’t get the joke when the resident pervert gave his access code as eight zero zero eight one three five until the next comic wrote it as numbers.
Just because I am older than sin, I can remember when our passwords had to be all caps and just letters because that was all the system could handle.
I actually quite recently came across something, don’t remember what it was, with a maximum password length of 12 characters. All alphanumerical plus underscore was allowed, though. But I’ve seen minimum lengths higher than that, which is well founded!
“The guy’s all class.” More like the guy’s all crass.
Gutter class is also a class 🙂
Would something like this get Dianne’s name sent to the bottom of the promotion list, as in…ROCK BOTTOM!?
Might depend on the outcome of her actions…
🤔
🙊
Thanks for the update, btw! At least we’re getting extra material in the form of Legacy☺️
for my fellow Americans for an idea of that Distance New York City to Colombia South Carolina is just over 700 miles
Personally, I’d expand the search to include “C” – just in case the killer was schooling them.
Ok, maybe not “schooling” but the deadly ABCs seems a bit more likely than just “A” & “B”.
The guess is that he is going through the murders in alphapetical order. Good thing for Kaycee he skipped “Bullet to the head”.
The guy is a truck driver and ends up going all over the country where he can find his victims. A bullet does not do much damage unless it is loaded properly into a firearm, so your suggestion will be listed under “Gun”.
My favorite Password moment in media is still the Animorphs series by K.A. Applegate. The title characters are getting ready to access the ship of a race of dog-like aliens known for being particularly trusting. The line is something like
Jake: “Okay guys, this is the password for the alien ship. Everyone memorize it. Six.”
Marco: “Okay…and?”
Jake: “No, it’s just six.”
May your hand rest well and your week be joyful. See you next Sunday! 🙂
February 21st falls on a Thursday not Sunday. I just looked.
D’oh!🤦♀️
