Hey, better a b&w update than none!
I look forward to the solution. Or the group’s dealing with the impossibility of finding one.
Hurray for tantilizing exposition handled well!
B&W updates are good updates, for you and us both 🙂 And this story is as good as ever!
Interesting dilemma for our heroes. Save a person and everybody dies, or fix it all, but someone dies. Choices, choices…
As for the B&W, since this was taking place in the “dream realm” (sorta), I thought it was supposed to be this way. But I’ll take colour, too. 🙂
i dont mind the b&w strips, why dont you keep them that way for a while?
So will Vertigo die anyway?!?!?
Her body will, almost definitely. But remember, this is a world populated by powerful psychic beings and other wonders which we don’t have in our world. I’m going to put my money down on something somewhat unlikely, but still plausible in the setting: Psychic download of Vertigo’s mental prowess, memories, and emotion in to a brain cavity which isn’t too burdened by thinking (so either of the Epochs). That, or the original host is lost, and someone like Kaycee ends up mentally “bunking” with Vertigo until a more suitable host body can be found. Hell! Vertigo’s psyche may even get splintered and a little part of her ends up in each of the cadets. Still . . . my first and foremost guess: Vlad Epoch gets Vertigo’s brain power.
If either of Epochs should end up with Vertigo, it should be the Brat (it might make her slightly more tolerable)
Thanks. I doubt my comments can entertain you as much as your comic entertains me, Grace . . . but I’ll be damned if I don’t try every now and again!
NEW THEORY! Download Vertigo’s psyche in to . . . THE POISON POET!
. . . I mean . . . I just want him to do something really cool and unique. So far he’s kind of sat in the background and just been one of the few “norms” we’ve had in this universe which could, potentially, pose some kind of threat. Maybe.
There in lies the rub: there is a sollution to defeating Der Fluge and saving Vertigo, they just have to figure it out and get it right the first (and only) time, no Mulligans with this
