    My first thought was her understanding of why she’s rattled was incorrect: her survival from the plane crash indirectly led to her friend dying. However, I remembered that she hasn’t accepted the idea that she was “suppose” to die. As such, she wouldn’t think of it in those terms (i.e. she traded death with her friend). Probably a good thing.

      On the other hand, she kinda does say it as trading deaths when she gives the note to Maverick right before the chroners leave.

        Given how classived the Croners details are… Likely the details she’d wanna talk about & forcus on is the death of a friend right in front of herself. I’m sure the other details are on her mind deep down, but she tries to move past them in her own way.
