Again with the internal logic. Remembering that Nina had lost her shoe back in the initial abduction I figured she'd have to ditch her one remaining shoe, or I could have Dr Spooky have it with him... for all the wrong reasons! Also, with all the flames about I didn't want our heroes roasting prematurely and so concocted the reasoning that "Hell has seasons".
