If
you are a particularly new reader you may be unfamiliar with Character Assassins.
Essentially they are a cult which are loyal to the Master Assassin; he believes he is living inside a constructed narrative and
that killing the "Alpha Character "will allow him to escape, and take control of, the
“Creator’s” story.
Character Assassins were first introduced in Bad Karma and seen again in Worst Field Trip Ever. They also featured in the Cross-Overkill crossover, along with the Master Assassin, who was seen again in Locke(e)down (and who features in that story).
The Master Assassin and his cult have been responsible for many deaths as they try to weed out the Alpha Character…!!
