This was an interesting page to work on, there’s a lot going on that at least needs some explaining… like how do they deal with the fires that Gabby starts with her flame breath? Anyhoo… the next update packs plenty of punch as Green Team looks to spoil Orange Team’s self-congratulatory party.

I’m such a dope – thanks for letting me know, it’s fixed now…!
Okay, I’m gonna call this a distraction. Kaycee’s too practical to draw their attention so unnecessarily, unless it’s part of larger plan. I figure they have a sneak attack waiting in the wings. And Billy, Charisma, and Lyta remain unaccounted for. If they’re all on one team, that’s a humdinger of challenge for Kaycee and crew.
We know that Charisma is vulnerable to electricity and that Bill is vulnerable to nerve attacks (that’s how Gifford took him down way back in chapter two).
Rochelle can do a nerve strike without any trouble. Having a Tazer is pretty likely. But we don’t know what weakness, if any, our resident Demigod has.
Of course Charisma and Bill can both fly, they’re rediculously fast and you simply can’t let them land a blow. So even with their kryptonites it isn’t going to be easy.
Honestly I’d have expected her to just throw those bolas without announcing self first, unless others are right and she’s the distaction.
I agree with this being a distraction. We don’t know what Chiq can do, but if anything Rochelle is even more dangerous than Kaycee. Remember how she took Evil Weevil bot down with a direct hit to a nerve cluster with a throw from the hip.
yep, I see Kaycee as a double feint, she’s too good to be wasted as pure distraction, and they all know it, and the rest of her team is definitely up to something
Well be careful what you wish for. xD
Gabby reminds me of another comic.
You might find this funny, on the other comic. A fair Maiden saves a Dragon from fire breathing nights.
Ha! What’s the comic?

thanks – I’ve heard of that one but never actually seen it before.
Does Gabby’s mouth always smoke?
Unfortunately for her it does – although the smoke has been found to be non-carcinogenic and the smell isn’t too offensive. When indoors she will often use a respirator so ahe’s not fuming out the whole room – and if you go waaaaaay back to the scene in chapter 1 where Kaycee and Nadine arrive in their dorm on page 1.27 you’ll notice, in addition to Fatima’s tank, there is also an enviro-chamber and bunk enclosed in a glass dome. The former is where Chiq sleeps and the latter, the glass domed bunk, is where Gabby sleeps – so she can sleep indoors without her smokey breath effecting the others. (Two incredibly marginal characters… and yet I was worried about how they slept, even way back then!!)
Wow – I was just rereading those scenes and wondering who slept in that bed!
