Meet Olga Beh and Brelvis Lonsdog
This was essentially a charcater study for the main characters, turned into a cover of sorts!

When I was first planning this series of strips I wanted it to be much simpler artistically - I spend a huge amount of time on the main Magellan pages and didn't want to fall into the same trap with Olga & Brelvis (mainly because it would take away time from Magellan itself) - as it turns out I was moderately successful in this aim... as the number of characters per strip increased, so too did the time invested. Anyway, this character design was a starting point reference for all the other cadets that have since followed. |
