Tuesday update! So this page references a lot of continuity, apologies for those that just arrived or have forgotten. In a nutshell – first year cadet Chang Chong was indeed murdered by his alternate future self DragonKlaw. You’ll have to read most of the Bad Karma storyline to get the gist of that. And Olga indeed has her own secrets – being the deaged former superheroine Gola Beh now secretly passing herself off as teenage cadet Olga Beh… you’ll need to read Redux for that story!

Not a movie, but hopefully it will help.
I’ve got this little feeling that this Dragonklaw figment may have some portion of the true Dragonklaw’s psyche from when the four spellslingers tried their seeker spell oh so long ago.
No, I think this is worse than Dragonklaw – this is an avatar of evil in a nightmare, so it can do anything at all. Bad things, unless Jemima gets a grip ASAP!
It will have to be Jemima that overcomes her nightmare and takes out “DragonClaw” to be a lasting victory.
This is true…
well its not like Jones can take them into her own memory
He’s coming for you
Kaycee is the only one there that saw Dragonklaw – and yet there he is, in his clothing now, not Chang’s. It’s not just Jemima’s nightmare anymore.
No, they all did, he was visible through the portal, and his picture was probably among the things that weren’t classified.
Actually Jen is more spot on than she realises – as for visibility into the sphere on the day, check out page 6.274…
OK wow
Reviewing that old page, and continuing on reading up to the medal ceremony brought back some memories. Such a great story, Grace.
But it also made me think . . . http://magellanverse.com/gossip/ Sioni’s going to be PISSED (maybe playfully, maybe not) if he finds out Kaycee revealed the classified intel from “The Day of the Dragons” to people other than him.
Also: http://magellanverse.com/impersonation/ Can we maybe some day have a villain make the world naked? Or a random disaster? And have it be a day that Ranger Bill is otherwise indisposed and doesn’t get to witness it? Or maybe being stuck in an old-folks’ home while the staff members are missing for the entire duration?
Well, as Ranger Bill says – nothing is ever “make everyone naked”… so probably not 😉
And Ranger Bill has already lamented that he never gets to be part of crossovers…!
As for Sioni, yeah, maybe. Kaycee was acting from direct orders so hopefully he realises that.
Will they fight this Dragonklaw?!?!?
Stay tuned!
Technically, Dragondick didn’t kill Chang, he just drained him and left him as a husk, but Chang had enough life left in him to fight back when the time was right, Kaycee knows that and should, veryvery quickly, elaborate
“Wait, Chang was still alive in the portal? But he was fighting back and insisted it be closed? So it was his choice? He chose to die? To save us? We didn’t kill him, that bastard did? That does it! Let’s get him, for the real Chang!”
Bah, was sure had closed the italics after the first “didn’t” 🙁
Technically Chang only got up because Dragonklaw spilt some of his own blood/lifeforce on Chang by accident.
the process of draining Chang for did kill him, he drained his life force, so thoroughly it was impossible for Chang to recover it naturally even after the short lived revival, he could not physically maintain his own existence.
Even a single spark, given time, can return to a raging fire
It was Dragondick who could no longer physically maintain his form, Chang figured if anyone should have to die to stop Dragondick, it should be him, seeing how he was DD, or would be, or would have been (alternate timelines can be confuzzlating 🙁 )
Chang was very much very dead. It was Dragon”dick’s” Diablo-infused blood which necromantically revived Chang, accidentally. What was most remarkable about the whole exchange is that Chang managed to be aware and cognizant enough to provide that critical assistance he had. Chang reaffirmed the fact that he was nothing more than a magic-based zombie when future-Rose lamented not being able to save him.
This is very true!
