great page
Ok everyone!
Haul out the trebuchets!
That was my thought as well. 🙂
That or get all the flying bricks to start tossing things.
So, they’re going to hit Locke Island until it starts working properly?
Isn’t that how you do things when machines and gadgets stop working properly? o_O
Like the punch line 🙂
That’s the main problem with intelligent weapons: they can be talked to.
Awww… they even had the ceremonial daggers polished and everything!
neutron bomb? without minds it probably can’t operate the island. though they might not think of such drastic measures, though it would be something to put on the table as a just in case (like nukes during the korean war). given that they have supers on hand they might be able to make poles work some how to physically keep the island at bay (doubtful though). they could use unguided torpedoes to knock out its propulsion, then create a current to drag the island away. the there is placing an artificial reef in its way to make it unable to get close due to its draft. unless they have replicators and transporters i don’t see how any of the would help given the amount of time they have to implement any of those plans. time really crushes anything except for what they have ready and on hand unfortunately.
Tom Bass sonic boom from 20 miles away? Other meta-human blast of long range destructive power?
“Not that old fashioned!”
Sea mines? dumb rockets? Torpedoes? Greek fire? rudder traps (a really long rope for the rudder blades to catch and tangle up in before breaking) Nuke from orbit with a timer and shielded casing?
Does ritual sacrifice work at all in this universe?
as always: take your time. i’ll be here when you’re ready, and no one else matters.
