The story has been jumping around a bit over the last few pages as everyone gets established… should settle down and get going over the page or three.
For new readers, Annie (Go!Anna) Summers is an Australian superhero (for those who don’t know, a goanna is a lizard)… she was last seen in her teaching role a few pages ago and last in costume at the end of Chapter 5. If you need a good solid intro then Chapter 3 is essentially her story. Annie and Freya also went through Magellan Academy together.
In case you are wondering, no we haven’t met Hermoine or Grant… not yet anyway. “Perfectly fine” doesn’t sound like much of an endorsement does it?

Plus, the endorsement is given by a guy who’s currently riding a Segway, so it’s doubly suspect.
heh, it’s not the first time we’ve seen a character in Magellan riding a Segway though…
I like the new Charisma Twitter feed. When did that go up?
Thanks! I think I inserted the feed over the weekend – I was going to blog about it but thought it was fairly self-evident. It’s the same account through which I wrote the Charisma_E Tweets interpretation of Chapter 4… with a several year break, I’m now only going to use it as a snarky (hopefully slightly amusing) way to pimp new updates for readers following her tweets. Writing in another persona within a fictional universe is fun but very demanding so I decided to keep it ‘low-key’ and manageable. It can sometimes take me several minutes to construct a pithy Charisma-esque description of some updates so I’ll probably limit it to three tweets a week with occasional asides… (and maybe even some twitpics!)
I like seeing Go!, I started reading this comic on DD, so she was my original introduction to the series.
Herm-o-i-ne… are you sure her name should be written like that? Because Herm-i-o-ne is a real existing name of Greek origin, not just something silly that J.K. Rowling thought up. What if nobody stuck to the approved spelling anymore? The world would collapse!
lol a super hero with a sag way.
she doesn’t indded need a reason to wear that. hehe.
I think teaching agrees with Go. She’s been way more cheerful lately.
teaching can be superheroing, it’s not necessarily one or the other. perhaps this would be a way to truly reform vostok, i think mudge and vostok would be compatible, both are selfish and heroic in their own ways.
Okay, a lot of folks are going to Locke Island: all of Force Magellan, Olga Beh, Ken Spence, and Freya Foster (for some reason). However the chapter cover promised that the second-year cadets plus Brelvis would be confronting the villains there. I’m still waiting for some clue as to how this will happen…
I’d say that Friday’s update will answer that…;)
I seem to recall that each team around the world has a telepath or so. Not sure where it was said, but I have that impression. The American telepath is not the only one available to help Psijector come to pass.
