Families/Cемьи 15
Page 15 of voting incentive story Families/Cемьи is now available! And so is a link to all the previous pages.
SPOILERS AHEAD – read the update first before reading what I’ve written below.
Katya might have the right idea of how to deal with the Q’Arth… but maybe not the time to do it.
Many thanks to everyone who has voted this last month… Magellan made it as high as #41 at one point during the last week of May, which I reckon is a sterling effort!
Next update: SATURDAY 27 June… our soviet heroes collide with history. (Sorry, running late!!)
I can just see the last panel of the series.
[ Epoch and Charisma are sitting at a table in the library at the Magellan Academy. In the background, Hamish can be seen walking by with his arm in a cast and sling. ]
Epoch: And that’s what I was able to find out about your grandparents. [ Closes the book they were looking at ]
Charisma (wearing the light blue uniform of second-year cadets): Wow. I mean, I heard about some of that last year in our history class, but I did not realize I was actually related to them. Thanks Dad.
Epoch: You’re welcome, Poppet.
Charisma: (Groan) Will you quit calling me that?
cute idea
This page touches on something I had been wondering about… How did the demons bypass RVs and CKs invulnerability? Is it extra dimensional energy? Or perhaps they are magical? We know that some magic is physically effective against at least many invulnerable characters. The original VM might be related to this’weakness’, as it seems most powerhouses derive from his origin. Hey! Where’s Billy come from, anyway?
Magic/extra-dimensional energy… something like that! Certainly something they haven’t encountered before.
Billy is DNA+… 🙂
Oh, you!😒 Here’s your DNA… +1! lol
*well played 🙂👍*
Magic is a bitch for invulnerable people.
Ah, magic. One of Superman’s greatest weaknesses too. Just because you can prepare for any physical encounter doesn’t mean much when there’s beings that can subconsciously or consciously rewrite the laws of reality.
“We view the laws of physics more as polite suggestions.” – Nanase Kitsune, El Goonish Shive.
Or challenges to be overcome, like the sparks in Girl Genious, or Yuai in Sandra and Woo.
Oops, speeled that wrong. The Sandra and Woo character’s name is Yuna.
I see the end coming very soon. That last panel could easily be the one just before the scene in History.
Sadly, they won’t get the chance to act on Katya’s very correct assessment of the problem.
