I still want to find out what co-ordinate system Ranger Bill is using. It clearly is not degrees of pitch, yaw, and roll, unless you have to spin the spacecraft 2.5 times to get lined up properly.
Obviously, he’s simply using the millipiradian, mπ, a wonderfully practical unit for plane angles that I just invented.* In this unit the scale for bearings is from -1000 to +1000 and both the mathematicians and the engineers are happy!
* The only indication I have that no one invented this before is that it isn’t a widespread thing, and it probably should be.
