I was a teenager when I started reading this (showing my age a little hehe!) and I really do think it was a very good thing in my formative years to seeing nudity as a natural subject matter in something I read on a consistent basis rather than the sexualized, titillating way that shows up so often in comics and manga, especially in regards to the male gaze.
