   “Too busy saving the world to be my ‘father'” – so untrue, or I believe it’s all untrue & he’s doing his best to balance everything

     Doing his best doesn’t mean he ins’t still letting her down, and it probably doesn’t help that doing his best on the world saving side of things is succeeding so well.

     I think most of his failings as a father are based on him not being there from the very beginning, which appears to be through no fault of his own.
