     I mean, she’s not using anything which the other cadets don’t have access to. She just -thinks- about things more than they do. She trusts that when someone says “something’s off” that it’s worth investigating. She does her research in advance. She’s determined, but has enough humility to know that she would not win a direct hand-to-hand fight with just about any of her peers or graduates or powered villains. She knows that fighting is the last resort.

     She’s genre-savvy.
