. . . I do find myself wondering what’s going on in that future-Maya brain there while trying to determine the worth and significance of her hostages. Why would the Doctor Phillos there be “the most significant?” In what context? What has happened in this Maya’s lived experiences that would have her call him the least and then reconsider him as the most in such a short time span?
