   Hmm. Somehow I missed this page before.
   Interesting how Hernandez seems to be picking up the same delusion that Kreuger has. That mind meld had more than just positive effects.

     No no, Hernandez had this delusion fully formed before the incident, that’s why they set up to shoot him! The impact of the incident is merely that Donovan is out of this. Whether that is positive or not depends on whether you think Kruger should be locked up at Locke, or dead.

       Just re-read the chapter. Hernandez’ desire to see Krueger dead stemmed from a very understandable event, not an “Alpha Character” delusion. This whole bit seems new and a very fascinating wrinkle to the entire chapter, which I like.
       It’s good to see events have fallout for more than just the cadets and major faculty.
