Rochelle doesn’t have time for committees!!: Back to Rochelle and the remains of Euro-Magellan. I guess we should have expected they wouldn’t immediately be onboard with Rochelle’s plan, even with her clearly omitting a key piece of information (that is, Ambrosia must die)! Anyway, circumstances seem likely to change their mind…
Update schedule: Apologies for the spotty updates… it has been a bonkers month at day-job central… anyway, things are maybe returning to normalish? I’m hopeful of a more reliable output schedule moving forward.
Patrons: Over on Patreon page 138 is now up – page 139 soon…
Next update: December 6: Does CHOOOM = DOOOM?
FUCK YO’ COMMITEES!
As I recall, Grace, this is the most bonkers time of year for you usually, right?
No sweat if things get spotty here. We understand!
Yeah, it probably doesn’t help that NSW is falling apart; AGAIN!
Another year of this shit yet, and another wave.
It’s probably no wonder that everybody went a bit cray-cray in 2025.
Yor sanity is more important than timely updates!
They’re pretty much hit the Godzilla Threshold here, so… [shrug] why not? Can’t hurt. The alternative is human extinction, you know?
“CHOOOOM”
Me: Whoa… that can’t be good.
Kinda sounds like one of those Kirby monsters from the old Strange Tales 🙂
🤔 I wonder if Earth Magellan has their version of the Doomsday Clock?
Probably the singularity probe landing
Incoming correction from Germany: If you wanted to say “Shit” it should not be “Schiße.” – it should be “Scheiße.” “Schiße” does not make any sense at all because it does not exist in German language.
Heroic regards from Germany!
to be fair, English speakers apparently have great problems with German diphtongs.
For example, they pronounce “ei” as “ie” and the other way round, and often misspell words with these vocal combinations. It’s so common I began to ignore it.
As an American with a German diphthong in my name, it is exceedingly irritating. But now I get to diphthong almost anytime I choose.
Also: NeiN is missing an N
Actually, Nei isn’t wrong. Edderkoppen isn’t German, he’s Scandinavian (can’t remember if he was Danish, Swedish or Norwegian) and “nei” means “no” in all three of those languages.
Danish, I think. In Swedish we would spell it “nej”.
Kind of sounds like metal music: “Bam, Budda, Budda, Budda, Bam… CHOOOOM”.
Eh, I don’t listen to metal.
Poorly translated quote time: Desperation teaches the nude person how to weave.
My guess is, that is the sound of the Doomsday Black Hole Generator being deployed from the Rarg mothership. Desperate times, indeed! Time to do your heroing thing, heroes!
Doh, didn’t see your comment before I said the same thing up above, mea culpa.
Still waiting for the 12/6 update but not worried, it’s late spring in Oz and things can get crazy what with homicidal magpies and dropbears and spiders that can drag off dogs and human babies.
Yeah, those human babies are the worst
They are certainly worst offenders in terms of eating up your time, be warned!
I’m not having any. I’m fairly convinced time would have to work much differently from how it does in order for me having children not to be a very bad time for all involved.
If you end up having any human babies by accident, please let me know. My spouse and I have wanted some for many years now, but are unable to produce are own.
It is very unlikely, but in case it happens and the mother agrees to it, you’re first in line. But I do think we’re in different countries which may make it very difficult. I hope you find a solution that is less far-fetched. I’ve heard at least one, maybe two, twenty-somethings saying that they wanted to experience a pregnancy but were not so keen on motherhood in the long run. Unfortunately I don’t think I can remember who it was (and if I could, there’s that pesky thing called geography again).
Thanks.
But for now, we should resume discussions related to the Magellanverse comic and setting. I can imagine this other topic being uncomfortable for some readers.
GASP!
Lookie at what I just rediscovered!

Totally unrelated to this particular page of the current Magellan storyline . . . OR IS IT!?
I believe I saw the phrase “One small leap” pretty recently… COINCIDENCE?
I predict that Kaycee (who knows Rochelle’s plan) will have problems allowing Rochelle to complete her plan, and others will agree. Maybe Ambrosia will step up and jump on the grenade, but I suspect that Olaf will see things Rochelle’s way and make sure it happens.
Rochelle is not visible in pages 8 and 9, FWIW.
I’m thinking no one other than Rochelle knows her plan in enough detail, unless more was said between her and Kaycee off panel.
Let’s set up another road block right here! We don’t want anyone to be able to get through!
heh
Considering WE are clever enough to predict Kaycee would have problem with Rochelle’s plan and Rochelle’s genius, OF COURSE she didn’t told her.
So what’s the reason this time it’s so late?
