That’s more than just a one-two punch to Charisma, Grace.
Although, Charisma did say “father” instead of “daddy.” So maybe she’s not -completely- emotionally vulnerable yet.
We don’t see her face on page 8, and on page 9 she doesn’t have tears on her cheeks or anything, so we can infer a few different scenarios from that.
Looking forward to seeing how she takes it!
Going la-la-la-la out loud instead of in your head is, uh, a NOVEL strategy to try and stop telepaths with.
