RARG ATTACKS!: Looks like all that “dying” Rochelle did back on pages 7.66-68 finally paid off!
I’ve been waiting for the right time and moment for Ambrosia to tell Kaycee about the best way to kill Rarg when unarmed… got to show it instead. Kaycee’s right, a time slip would have been safer but good on Ambrosia for giving it a go!!

I’m scared for where this is going next…
Seduced by the Rarg King… Ambrosia was so angry… and lonely. Would she have the strength to finally defeat the Rarg King? Or would she give in to his gentle touch?
Rarg King had all the gold he ever wanted but he had not mate to share it with. But now he finally found a woman strong enough to be his queen. He whispered Rarrrgg in her ear, and began gently touching her with 4 of his arms. Ambrosia shivered with excitement.

Poor Olga, though. Looks like she’s on the cusp of losing it, if she hasn’t already. Just look at -her- eyes!
Not sure what he’s thinking, but I’d say his consensus from page 100 was correct. He may well be the last piece of the puzzle here: Paradoximan to tether Paz to the timeline, Go!Anna to provide intel, Rochelle to “release” the time-bending energies inside her, and Olaf’s necromantic abilities to ensure she has the presence of mind to use them.
On a less tongue-in-cheek note:
It’s good to see Ambrosia wanting to take a more active role, and it’s understandable that being relegated to “safety net asset” can be incredibly dehumanizing and denying her personal agency. Hopefully, though, she’ll recognize the importance she has in maintaining her own safety for everyone else’s survival.
I agree. One of the key tenants of being a superhero is wanting to save others and I think Ambrosia has just had so many losses today she needed to take a risk and reassert control, however small that is.
