Rallying the troops: Gotta say, I’m pretty happy with how that third panel turned out… it was worth it, even if it did take several hours to draw, colour and shade…! There’s a mix there of first through fourth year cadets… for newcomers, the uniform colour is the give-away. Purple for first year, blue for second, red for third and teal for fourth… although the tall alien in the space suit Chiq is also a third year cadet. That means at least third years (11 if you include Rochelle)… not a bad survival average for red shirts.
Anyway… there’s also a little side story that’s been going on with Olga and Olaf. A few spoiler pointers for new readers (or those requiring a recap)… Olga is really Gola Beh, a de-aged amnesiac former 1970s superhero now secretly presenting as her own “great-niece”. Read Redux for that. Olaf is a bit of a mystery… fellow cadet Yasmeen Jafari has been convinced Olaf is up to no good (read The Olaf Mystery), and expressed her suspicions to Olga back on page 7.13 (and some subsequent pages). Sadly for Yasmeen, she did in fact die and get resurrected by Olaf…. Olaf said it was essentially “no big deal” (page 7.83) before she died again (see pages 7.99-100)! The end of the world might see an odd moment for this discussion… but I guess it had to happen at some time.

Indeed, but I always imagined it to be a roof-mounted climate control device rather than an exuberant devotee. The latter clearly lends itself better to obscure rewording though, well done 😀
In Germany that was the plot of a famous comic: “Werner” racing “Holgi”, the loser would have cat digestive end product dumped on them – but in the comics the hose went loose and the pump spread the dump on the audience.

“The truth will out.” I am not familiar with that historical affirmation. The phrase I am more familiar with is “The truth will COME out.” or “The truth will WIN out.”
It was the Shakespearean original wording, based on the “Murder Will Out” phrase that was popular around the time, essentially meaning the same thing but in a specific context.
It took me reading the commentary to notice that Olaf say “OLGABEH” in quotation marks, and “GOLABEH” just as a normal name.
Olaf’s smarter than one might initially think!

Interestingly, Olaf does not seem to appear on pages 8 or 9 and Olga/Gola has a gun. {sinister theme plays}

Olaf’s head (sneaky sneaky Grace didn’t show his body) is visible between Olga and Brelvis on page 9.
Something that just dawned on me . . . Gola Beh may have been FULLY aware of all of Olaf’s secrets prior to losing her memories. In fact, she might even be the one who inducted Olaf originally, and Psiot took custody only when Gola became “deceased.”
Could be a REALLY interesting revelation for Olga to face, Grace. Whacha think?

Given that she can to some extent sense the collective nature of Olafs mind, it makes sense that with permission and resources she could have had a good insight into what’s going on in that giant head.
In other words, Olaf knows that Olga was Gola Beh, and is hinting that if she exposes his secret that he’ll expose hers.
I suspect Olaf WILL be needed along with Rochelle’s Paradoximan and Paz amplify plan somehow. Possibly at the immediate expense of the Consensus.
