Well at least the Magellans should be able to protect some resources now and interfere with some of the rarg plan. Let’s see how tactically flexible the rarg are and how quickly they can compensate for the Magellan responses.

Gotta wonder why Ranger Bill needs all those surveillance feeds while he’s… enjoying his privacy, as it were.

I know the comment was for comedy and all that, but I wanted to say that, since the students are at least primarily underage (as far as I know–isn’t Magellan Academy basically equivalent to a high school?), it would be a bit worse for him to spy on them in such a way.
“Underage” is based on jurisdiction, and it’s unclear which limits the authorities of Magellan Island put in place in regard to this issue. Additionally, the only specific age I believe we’ve been provided is 15 years old (approximately) for Olga when she de-aged. So, if that’s our baseline for a first-year cadet, your concern may carry merit.
Although, I’ve always got the impression that cadets are generally “teen aged” when they’re admitted, but some may be older or younger depending on how long their application was held up for approval. As such, I don’t think every cadet is the same age in a certain academy year.
Regardless of -all- of that; observing someone in a space which is reasonably expected to be private is generally a big ol’ no-no even before the of age of that someone is put in to consideration.
And yet . . . certain self-appointed authorities get to do so without any oversight.
And so, since Magellan is approximately based on our world, but with some significant departures here and there, I feel like the most that may happen is a “stern talking to” for Ranger Bill. Maybe getting kicked off Force Magellan if his behaviour demonstrates a problematic pattern.
Assuming human cadets typically join Magellan as 1st years at age 16+ (Olga and Brelvis went through a probationary period but were different ages) and don’t receive an invitation to Fast Club until at least their 3rd year (Nadine was in a red uniform), then all Fast Club members would no longer be minors. I’m sure this is adjusted based on actual biological maturing rate (i.e. an Alien species that reaches adulthood by age 5). I was under the impression that Kaycee joined after high school since there was no urgent power-related reason for her to train sooner. Even if Nadine WAS 15 like Olga was implied to be, by her 3rd year, she’d be 18. I agree that “underage” is a relative term.
Yep, by third year the cadets are over 18 years (or the alien/other realm equivalent thereof) 🙂
Oh, I agree he’d totally have to be booted from the team and island for that. But since it was the one canonically established location where people get naked outside, it’s the joke I went with.
Judy: What is with those co-ordinates? That would be the camera just outside the change rooms by the pool. Wait a minute! That is on the wrong side of the wall!
Honestly, while I assume RB does fantasize about his coworkers when in his Fortress of Fapitude (hence part of why he wants to be away from telepaths; also, it’s just good manners to not subject them to your fantasies), he doesn’t strike me as the type of creepy voyeur who would set up hidden cameras in a changing room.

They’re likely to have Charisma and Epoch at full power, at least, and I think the Red Whatchamacallit almost broke through the hull by himself last time, so they may be able to destroy the spaceship.
Charisma and Epoch team up to twist open the shell would be a good on. Will need to wait for someone to depower the energy defense shield.
Force Magellan portal back bottleneck could delay a bit. I do not know where Billy is. He should in Rochelle’s area, be able to help proactively reduce larger building collapse threat IF defense works.
I am wondering where Castlemaine, Touchwood, Blake and Bashir are, but the 4 could be mobilized quickly to Norn hex/energy defense. They have a history of having to trust Olga in Lockdown in a crisis.
Hara and Baja I have not noticed since lockdown. May have personal costumes by now. Would likely require an authority figure like Mary Gemmas (Adoptive parrent to Olga) to push to action.
