GOSH, I love shipping these two, and Charisma carrying Kaycee bridal-style is just adding fuel to the fire.
To be fair, there’s not THAT many ways how she can carry her, and this may easily be the one most comfortable for Charisma, not speaking about Kaycee. I’m pretty sure in that original Charisma deliberately choose way less comfortable for herself just because it was even less comfortable for Kaycee.
Still, yeah, the implications are nice bonus for shippers.
Utility of carrying position:
Planning specifically talking while on the way back can be aided by effective face to face communication expression, and reduced distance for clarity, to overcome relative wind conditions of their high flight speed.
This position seems optimal considering no super hearing or other communication special powers.
The only other way would be to carry Jones on her back and that will NEVER happen.
Heck yeah, progress!! Still not friends (yet), but I hope it will get there eventually!
Might as well ask,”Would Charisma get along with Sydney Scoville?!?”
I predict that Charisma would not get along with Sydney Scoville. Sydney is hyper and has no filter, and Charisma is easy to offend. The only chance would be if Charisma is sensible enough to think “oh, you’re from another universe, so I guess it makes sense that you’ve never heard of me.”
I also wonder if Charisma would be upset over Sydney being a “norm” who has no powers if you take away her artifacts. My first impulse was to think that she would have a problem with it… but probably not, because we haven’t seen her get annoyed with Ranger Bill, and I don’t think he has any powers. (He has a swarm of nanobots that I guess he invented but he doesn’t himself have powers.)
I’ve long been interested in seeing GrrlPower get swept up into a future crossover hero webcomic thing.
Too bad Mindmistress isn’t around anymore to organize a crossover, Maxima would have been an ideal participant of “Crossoverpower!
I think Force Magellan would have a hard time accepting Halo as a cadet *grin*. But they would probably give ARCHON compliments for their strict training regime.

I think this is more moderation that was provided by the space pickle coming into effect. Charisma is getting the benefit of KayCee’s analytical mind and this time around she still has her powers to smash some bugs. Its also fresh in her mind that KayCee didn’t leave her behind to die despite all they had been through.
And Charisma went through a worldline where Epoch died. He’s normally so reliable for everyone at being there to save the day from the big things. Charisma had to start facing a day where he wouldn’t be there to prevent her from losing everything and she would have to step up.
Nice to see Charisma being at least pragmatic, if not genuinely friendly.
As far as Charisma knows, if she does not step up, Daddy will still die.
Charisma does not know of anyone, aside from the last timeline will be able to keep their powers differently. At least Billy and Daddy were unlikely to have been flying then falling, based on last orders.
