Not quite sure what’s going on in that second to last panel. Are her powers kicking in without her doing it, or has she decided to just jump back earlier because she’s spotted something that she thinks is more important?
It seems on her death throes Rochelle accidentally pushed that rarg’s helmet-opening button. Klak-kshhh-GRaaRG.
I hadn’t actually noticed that there was any death until you said that…

“You’re so fat” jokes don’t work either.”
“Very well. Attempt 2,842,777…“
“Huh, threatening to call their mother surprisingly worked. Who knew?”

Rochelle: ..just don’t get yourself-
Ambrosia: No! *grabs Rochelle* We RUN now! *pulls her away*
Roche: But we need-
Ambr: You FOUND a weakness, you killed one of them, but then another one appeared and ran you through! We’ll be overrun if we stay! We have to tell others, so that knowledge of the weakness doesn’t DIE with us! Now come ON!
Rochelle would certainly insist on using the scientific method, and ensure that her results are reproducible.
I skipped that iteration – Rochelle DID reproduce it, but then another Rarg killed her. That’s why Ambrosia tells her to run now!
That’s the great thing about this teamup – Rochelle is the scientist, but Ambrosia is her memory.
It’s not completely clear in the panels, but it’s actually the Rarg that she just flipped over that has stabbed her before she moved away.
What? Rarg (psychic/bug-type) is evolving.
