Hmm… Is Rochelle ambidextrous? Ambrosia should be hanging back here. They’re going to have to attract the Rarg’s attention away from Sioni and Ro has to line herself up to flip it over. You can’t risk it getting a chance to launch itself at them and striking Ambr.
Unless Sioni can reach the latch with a kick between the bars from his vantage point, maybe?
Hmm… A kick would be awkward due to his position and unlikely to connect due to the grate, but he might be able to strike it with his hand, if he can keep the Rarg at bay with just the other. Or he could attempt to shove it back using his arms and legs and hopefully topple it so that Ro could move in to strike it with her weapon.
Still love the interaction of those too – and I think I just realised why. Ambrosia is holding her own in their conversation, despite Rochelle’s hyper-intelligence. Kinda fits with her focused mind not being immediately read by Olga. I like her, but I wonder what kind of things she has lived/un-lived to create this sort of maturity and unfazed attitude…
Yup, I figured Rochelle had lied and written off Sioni as a lost cause until they had figured out the more pressing issue at hand.
Any guesses as to how many loops they’ll need to save Sioni?
Also, this has probably already been said but poor Ambrosia is going to have a VERY long day.
Zero *at a guess*. Now that Rochelle knows the weak point, striking it is just a matter of putting herself in correct position to flip the Rarg then backing away quickly to avoid being stabbed. I can imagine it might take one though, due to complications arising from its engagement with Sioni.
“RARG”
Translation: “Stopped by a metal grate? Now I feel like those losers from “Signs”. I have GOT to get some ranged weapons in this suit.”
*Rarg*
Alternate translation: “If only I was smart enough to remember to put my compact stabbing arms between these amply spaced metal bars.”
They seemed to be carrying weapons back on p8… I wonder where they came from?
Yeah, based on their fights with Rochelle, they should be quick enough to punch a limb or two though that grate within 5 seconds. Dramatic pause for effect, i guess.
