   Also, I’m wondering if Charisma actually *did* catch any crooks herself. I thought it was mostly Captain Epoch saving the day and stealing the spotlight whenever Charisma gets involved in something.

   Perhaps not as useful as some powers when catching crooks, but definitely useful in keeping them locked up, I think. Wasn’t Jemima involved in that little spell? Why hasn’t she shown any visible symptoms?

    I second Phoebe – i like the guard, too. she is funny (“all the best psychos are in there”), looks good AND seems to have empathy skill. okay, to know charisma you don´t need empathy but just read the VIP page in newspapers…

    i don’t see that power being too helpful against people who would crawl around in sewers in order to achieve their objectives, although i wouldn’t call it a useless power either, just misplaced. imagine her being a high school teacher, or an interrogator. i wonder if the inmates know her power? if they did they might never want to go to the bathroom, afraid that she made them do it for some reason, if not then she could get inmates away from others if need be.

    Actually such a power would be very useful in the apprehension of anyone whose powers required any kind of concentration. Remember how hard it was to concentrate on math in sschool when you had to go? Now drink a half gallon of soda, wait a half hour, then start doing long division in your head while dodging somebody shooting a paintball gun at you.

      the problem with such an analagy is that you wouldn’t want to piss your pants in order to use your power, a sufficiently motivated person wouldn’t care about pissing their pants. now if they don’t realize that doing said long division would net them 3 million dollars (or something else that is rather worth pissing your pants) then the person would probably choose to hold it, and look for a bathroom instead. limited scope, but not exactly useless.

          wow, that opens up a lot of possibilities with reforming people (getting them to make decisions that don’t lead to prison). it also puts a new spin on all of that mandatory water guzzling in boot camp.

    Even if you’re a supposed superhero — maybe especially if you’re a supposed superhero — you shouldn’t diss complete strangers. You never know what’ll happen. ^_^

    Ms. Black’s power can be very useful, but only against sapient beings who feel a strong aversion to peeing themselves. Animals and complete nutjobs would just use a convenient corner or maul you while peeing…
